The Pilates Team opened the New Year with a big bang by welcoming over 30 new clients and gathering back many previous clients who have returned to the Studio. Thank you for choosing this Studio as your place to connect with mind body fitness exercise. Of course, we are bias, but we believe our Studio has much to offer to enhance your optimal health and wellness.
The country, with President Obama at the helm, is trying to redirect our nation. Indeed these are stressful times and in periods of great tension it's vital to attend to our health and well being.
The Pilates Studio is here to help you redirect the path necessary to accomplish your goals. And remember we have no membership costs that drag on year to year keeping you locked in! The uniqueness of our studio and expertise of our trainers are enough to keep our students returning year after year.
If you are unsure of what course you should take to unwind, de-stress, and relax . may I suggest you drop-in for a gentle or flow yoga class.
Are you interested in reshaping your waistline and dropping a dress size?. may I suggest you commit to learn Pilates mat and Pilates equipment and witness that after 10 regular sessions you start to see a change and by 20 sessions you notice a longer leaner waistline. If you're looking for instant gratification (aerobic high, deep abdominal muscles engaged and overall fitness exertion). may I recommend a Cardiolates class or Fit and Trim Bootcamp! Come out of your box and discover something innovative a GyrotonicŪ private or semi-private session to bring balance, harmony, spatial awareness, strength, increased circulation and energy into your life. It also boosts your golf game!!!!
Maybe it's time to develop your flexibility by increasing the length of muscle and joint range of motion.then Yamuna Body Rolling is waiting for you!

Please take the time to write your thoughts, suggestions and feel free to give us any recommendations you may have that could help us better serve you. .New classes, different times, a workshop you'd like to attend...Your anonymous comments will only be read and assessed by Shelia Donovan and then appropriately shared in a productive manner with the Pilates Team.

Winter Session Schedule
To continue to offer a variety of mind body exercise programs with efficiency and affordability we must adhere to our policy of registering at least 5 people who have paid and committed to the class before the class begins. In this way we're able to retain our exceptional instructors.
Class Changes: As a session progresses there is always a possibility of cancellation (due to fewer than 5 people registering for the class), adding times or changing times of classes or the addition of new classes based on the number of registrants. Thanks again for your patience and understanding and most of all your commitment to this Studio.
Introducing Redcord/Activcore!
We are now an education center for Redcord/Activcore which is a highly effective exercise technique activating the right muscles, in the right amount, at the right time which is key to achieving optimal performance. ActivCore FEX benefits anyone seeking seeking a competitive edge; from elite athletes to the weekend golfer and everyone in between. The benefits of FEX include enhanced functional strength, increased joint stability and range of motion, improved balance, reduced risk of injury and discomfort.
Shelia will complete her advance training in the ActivCore training February 27-29. Jessica Zimmerman will begin her Teachers Training next month.

Quantum RhythmT Yoga with Surya Kolpakov, CYT, LMT

Quantum RhythmT Yoga is a form of yoga therapy aimed at awakening and experiencing natural healing rhythms and cycles in and around us. Intended to evoke the healing process at every level, the practitioners use postures, movement, breath work, visualizations, and meditation.
Quantum RhythmT Yoga utilizes eight rhythms of the body-mind to harmonize our cell vibrations and promote health and healing.
The eight rhythms are known as the AshtaspandaT and develop a new level of awareness and is a great adjunct to any style of yoga or form of exercise.
Originally from Siberia, Surya has been teaching yoga and meditation in the United States since 2002. His training includes several certifications from Integral Yoga and Structural Yoga Therapy. He is a Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in Thai Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Yoga Therapy. In 2008, Surya developed Quantum RhythmT Yoga.
