Cardiolates®
is a new system of exercise which combines all the cardiovascular and
health benefits of rebounding with the Pilates core strengthening and
aligning benefits. It draws your focus inward instead of diverting
attention to the periphery. The deep postural muscles of your body are
constantly contracting involuntarily to stabilize you as you move during
the exercise.
Rebounding challenges your stability and
the deep postural muscles will be challenged to keep you upright, so
your stabilizing muscles are strengthened without you having to worry
about it!
Katherine and Kimberly Corp are the creators of
Cardiolates®. They designed
Cardiolates® with the goal of
integrating the importance of alignment with the importance of
cardiovascular activity. Pilates centers on core strength & alignment,
but because it is methodical and mindful in nature, it cannot elevate
the heart rate to the levels necessary to keep the heart healthy. If you
follow the guidelines for alignment in the rebounding technique for
Cardiolates®, you will strengthen every
cell of your body in its optimal alignment. You’ll move through life
more freely, buoyantly, and energetically!
